Welcome to Blossom House School

We are a specialist independent day school in South West London for children from 3 to 19 years with speech, language and communication difficulties. Our school has a unique atmosphere created by its totally dedicated, highly professional and caring staff.  We acknowledge specific strengths and support individual weaknesses, so that each child “blossoms” and has the opportunity to fulfil his or her potential.

We hope that our website will give you a flavour of Blossom House. If you would like more information about us or about our assessment process, please don’t hesitate to call the school.

An 'Outstanding' school (Ofsted March 2012)

“What I have enjoyed about Blossom House is that this school has been my whole life really. I have been here ever since I was five and this school has taught me right from wrong, how to make friends and if you get knocked down, you get back up.” (Year 11 pupil)

OPEN DAY - We hold regular Open Days for parents of primary school age children looking for primary and senior school places . Please phone the school for details and to book your place. Please note that this is for parents only, and is not suitable for children. There is metered parking on the roads outside the school. We have limited places in our senior school and parents of senior school (year 7 and above) age children should contact us regarding bringing their child in for an initial assessment rather than attending the Open Days.

VACANCIES
Because of continued expansion, we are currently looking for a PE teacher to work with KS2 and KS3 - this would suit an NQT.  Please contact the school for details.
We also have a vacancy in our Post 16 provision - see here for details of this job.

News

A NEW HOME FOR BLOSSOM HOUSE SCHOOL!
We have been searching for some time for new premises to accommodate our growing needs. We are delighted to announce that we have just secured an excellent site close by in Motspur Park. Our new building has more space (inside and out), playing fields nearby, a local community of shops and a library, and the station is next door. The move will happen in stages over the next academic year and we will keep everyone informed as the project moves ahead.
